Cottage pie
the traditional pie with cooked minced meat and green peas topped with mashed potato and gratinated in the oven. လို႕ ေရးထာေပမဲ႕ salamander နဲ႕လည္း အ ပူေပးၾကပါတယ္။
cottage pie ကို shepherd's pie လုိ႕လည္း ေခၚၾကေသးတယ္။ cottage pie က shepherd's pie ထက္အရင္ ေပၚပါတယ္။ shepherd's pie ဟာ sheep ကိုအဓိကထားၿပီး lumb or mutton ကိုလည္း သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ shepherd ဆိုတာ သိုးေက်ာင္းသား လို႕ အဓိပါယ္ရပါတယ္။ British beef နဲ႕ mash potato လုပ္ထားတာကို cottage pie လို႕ေခၚပါတယ္။ အားလံုးဟာ traditional English dish ေတြပါ။
